1. Canvass

In person visits are the best way to educate and motivate voters. Training is provided and you can work with a partner.

2. Write Postcards

Write friendly notes to voters to help get out the vote. We provide lists and supplies. Do it on your own or with a group of friends.

3. Literature Drops 

Lit Drops are visits where we leave door hangers, and other literature but do not knock the door. It’s a great way to be involved for those who are bit shy in meeting new people. Training is provided and you can work with a partner.

4. Labeling Parties

Keep a watch on your Inbox. We get together to label, stamp, stuff envelopes and sort the postcards & letters our volunteers write or that were preprinted by us. It’s usually quick and always fun. The sense of accomplishment leaves everyone feeling good.

5. Phone and Text Banking

Join us to mobilize voters at virtual or in person events. Phone-banking outreach is second only to canvassing because the more personal the outreach is, the more effective it is. The combination of phone and text banking is an effective way to get out the vote. Training is provided.

6. Write Letters to the Editor

It helps to reach out to a wider community. Any local publication, in print or online, reaches your neighbors and has your voice heard.

7. Display a Yard Sign

Show your support for our candidates and causes by placing a sign in your yard.
Help us distribute our candidates’ signs to friendly households.
Help us place in public spaces for the public to see.

8. Donate & Fundraising

Host an event or organize an initiative to raise funds to support our activities, candidates, and community outreach efforts.
The truth is that not much can be done without money. Without money we cannot make copies, run a website, mail anything, print letters, cards, handouts, or do any voter outreach. Simply put, we need money to get the word out, elect candidates, and keep moving forward. Unfortunately, it all takes money.  So, we are asking for your support. Thank you.

9. Join our District Leader Team

Washington Township has 13 voting districts. Two committee persons represent each district from each political party. They are the party officials at the most local level.
Training and support is provided. You can have tremendous impact as a District Leader!

10. Contribute your talents!

Your talents are needed, any of your talents, hidden or otherwise, would be appreciated. We need your help to create powerful messages to educate and inspire. We need your time to deliver and organize. We need you.
