You Can Use a Secure Drop Box to Return Your Ballot
There Are Multiple Locations Throughout Morris County

Concerned about the Postal Service?
Then you can drop off your mail-in ballot in a secure Drop Box. There are secure Drop Boxes located throughout Morris County. There is a Drop Box in Washington Township located at the Police Station.
They resemble a USPS Blue Mailbox, but are Red, White & Blue and display “Morris County – Official Ballot Drop Box.” Drop Boxes are locate in thirty (30) locations across Morris County. Drop boxes are secure.
- All are outside and bolted into concrete
- They are under video surveillance 24/7
- Each Drop Box can be opened/closed only with a unique set of keys for that specific mailbox. Only the Board of Elections (not the United States Postal Service) has access to those keys.
- Employees of the Board of Elections pick up ballots from each Drop Box at least once each day. All Security measures will be followed when collecting and transporting the ballots.
- They resemble a USPS blue Mailbox, but are Red, White & Blue, and display “Morris County – Official Ballot Drop Box”
